MANILA — Actress Kim Chiu is returning to Star Cinema for a new project.
The good news was confirmed by ABS-CBN Films head Kriz Gazmen through a social media post on Wednesday.
“We’ve been wanting to work together again for years now but timing is everything, and now, it’s finally happening 😭
Welcome back to @starcinema, @chinitaprincess!!! I am so proud of your back-to-back successes and can’t wait for this next one! Let’s do thissssss!!! 🎥,” Gazmen captioned his post.
Aside from her hit primetime series “Linlang,” Chiu is also the lead actress of the Philippine version of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.”
Chiu’s last film with Star Cinema was the horror movie “U-Turn” in 2020.
Currently, aside from being part of “ASAP Natin ‘To,” Chiu co-hosts ABS-CBN noontime program “It’s Showtime.”
