Dina Bonnevie’s husband, Deogracias Victor “DV” Savellano, has passed away at the age of 65.

Savellano dedicated many years to public service in Ilocos Sur and most recently served as the Undersecretary of the Department of Agriculture.

The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur announced his passing in a heartfelt Facebook post.

“Dios unay iti agngina for the life-long devotion and commitment to public service,” they wrote, sharing a photo of Savellano in front of the Ilocos Sur Capitol.

It can be recalled that Dina Bonnevie and Savellano tied the know on 2012. The cause of death has not been announced yet.

Deogracias Victor “DV” Savellano was a Filipino politician who served as the governor of Ilocos Sur province. He held the governorship during multiple terms: briefly in 1992, from 2001 to 2004, and again from 2007 to 2010. Savellano also served as the Vice Governor of Ilocos Sur from 1988 to 1992, and again from 2010 to 2016. In addition to his roles in the provincial government, he represented Ilocos Sur’s 1st congressional district in the House of Representatives from 2016 to 2022. He was appointed as an undersecretary of the Department of Agriculture in July 2023.

Dina Bonnevie is a veteran actress who started young in the entertainment industry. She used to be the wife of Vic Sotto, a famous actor and comedian in the Philippines. Dina and Vic have two children – Oyo Boy and Danica Sotto.

“DV” Savellano, a Filipino politician, was married to actress Dina Bonnevie. They met during the filming of “Hanggang Saan, Hanggang Kailan” in 1991 and married in 2012.
