Nakapanayam ng media si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. patungkol sa pinag-usapang pagkikita ng asawang si First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos at mga anak ni Queen of All Media Kris Aquino na sina Joshua Aquino at Bimby Aquino Yap.
Giit ng pangulo, maayos ang relasyon nila ng mga Aquino kahit magkataliwas sila pagdating sa politika. Kahit noon pang nabubuhay si dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino ay isinasantabi nila ang mga isyung politikal at maayos naman daw ang pakikitungo nila sa isa’t isa.
“Until the presidency of Noynoy (Aquino), talagang we were on the other side of political… the reasons why pinuntahan nila si First Lady ay simple lamang, nangailangan si… I think it was Kris Aquino who needed some assistance for something…”
Nang matanong kung ano ang “something” na ipinakiusap ni Kris kay FL Liza, ito raw ay tungkol sa travel assistance.

Nabanggit din ni PBBM na may “family ties” si FL Liza sa mga anak ni Kris dahil tita nila ang Unang Ginang.

Iginiit pa ni PBBM na maayos ang relasyon ng mga Marcos at Aquino. “Well, we’ve always been okay. We just don’t agree politically,” aniya.
