Barbie Forteza, an actress under GMA Network, just confirmed her breakup with Jak Roberto after 7 wonderful years of being together.

On Thursday, January 2, Barbie took to her official Instagram to write a lengthy message about their decision to part ways this year.

According to Barbie, having Jak in her life was the happiest she’s ever been and mentioned how they have been together for 7 years.

“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen and so much love. Your love was exceptional,” the Kapuso actress wrote online.

However, Barbie also mentioned that sometimes, ‘good things fall apart’ at one point in time.

“But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together. Beautiful goodbye, @jakroberto. Thank you for loving me the way you did. I am excited for what’s to come for the both of us. You take care of yourself. May you find the love you deserve,” the actress said.

By the end of her post, Barbie expressed hopes for everyone’s understanding about the breakup.

“I hope for everyone’s understanding and I wish you can help us put this matter to rest,” she said.
