This was Mark Alcala’s answer when asked about Kathryn Bernardo

Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala was asked about the real score between him and Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo.

The rumors linking Kathryn and Mark started circulating in July last year. This was almost a year after Kathryn and her former reel and real life boyfriend Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla confirmed their breakup.

After the KathNiel breakup, several male personalities were rumored to be Kathryn’s suitors. She was linked to her Hello, Love, Again leading man Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards. It was also rumored that A-list actor Jericho Rosales courted Kathryn.

Speculations even surfaced that young actor Donny Pangilinan tried to pursue Kathryn Bernardo. Just recently, the rumors linking Kathryn and Mayor Mark resurfaced because of what talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared in his Showbiz Update YouTube show.

Allegedly, Kathryn and Mayor Mark are officially a couple since December last year. Last year, when the politician was asked about the rumors that he was courting the actress, he was just “dedma.”

In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, the mayor was once again asked about Kathryn. Entertainment reporter Jojo Gabinete shared that they teased the mayor if he wants the showbiz news outlet to have a Part 2 of the report about him and the actress.

“Huwag! Maawa ka. Maawa ka!” the mayor said. He knew that it was the showbiz news outlet that first reported about the rumors that he was courting Kathryn. With this, Mayor Mark asked about the source of the showbiz news site and Gabinete refused to divulge the information but said that the “reliable source” was just close to him.

The mayor was surprised by this. Then, Mayor Mark Alcala was asked if it was true that he courted Kathryn Bernardo. He refused to confirm or deny the rumors.

Gabinete shared that according to their source, the politician and the actress are currently in the “dating stage.”
