Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi couldn’t help but turn emotional as they sent their son Mavy off to his lock-in taping.

On Instagram, Monday, Carmina shared a video and a series of photos where she’s hugging her only son while crying, followed by family photos where her swollen eyes are evident.

“All grown up. Time for you to spread your wings my forever baby boy Mavy. Always remember that we are here for you and we are all proud of you!” she wrote in the caption.

“Enjoy! I miss you already. [You’ll be away from us for the first time]. We love you,” she added.

Zoren, meanwhile, shared shots of him and Mavy hugging, with his back turned to the camera.

“It’s hard to let this guy go to spread his wings. Come back with wider and longer wing span. Always pray at night and when you wake up,” he said.

“I love You as my son as my friend,” he added with a series of red hearts.

Last month, it was confirmed that Mavy will be joining the cast of “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.”

Starring Heart Evangelista, the series centers on a fashionista who returns to her hometown, rediscovers her roots, and rekindles her love for family, community, and an ex-flame.

In February, meanwhile, Zoren, Carmina and Mavy visited Cassy in her lock-in taping for the recently concluded GMA series “First Yaya.”
