Min Bernardo could not stop herself from responding to a basher over a nasty remark they made of her daughter, Kathryn Bernardo, in light of her rumored kissing scenes with new onscreen partner Alden Richards in their upcoming film “Hello, Love, Goodbye”.
According to a tweet they wrote to Min on Sunday, there have been rumors going around that fans of Kathryn and Alden’s respective love teams, KathNiel and AlDub, are planning to boycott the Star Cinema production as it features a lot of intimate scenes between the two actors.
“Kasi naman bilang nanay hindi man lang nirespeto boyfriend ng anak at pinayagan makipaglaplapan sa ibang lalaki anak niya. ‘Yan ba sinasabi niyong role model?,” they added, referring to Kathryn’s boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
In her reply, Min hit back by stating that there is no truth to the claim.
“Part ka ba ng creative? Malamang HINDI. Ang kinakalat mong kwento ay taliwas sa story,” she said, adding that the basher has no right whatsoever to question her parenting skills.
“Ang pagiging NANAY ko ay huwag mong questionin kasi madami kang hindi alam. Sana kung maging magulang ka na, maging isa kang huwaran. Then tsaka mo ako balikan at kausapin,” she continued.
“Hello, Love, Goodbye” marks the first-ever team-up of Kathryn and Alden, both of whom are homegrown artists of rivaling networks ABS-CBN and GMA, respectively. It tells the story of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) Joy (Kathryn) and Ethan (Alden), who are based in Hong Kong. The movie’s official trailer, which was released early this month, showed how the characters struggle to choose between pursuing their love for each other or pursuing their respective dreams.
