You guys, celebrity couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have been talking a lot about marriage this year. The pair celebrated their eighth anniversary in May and have shared plans about “a beach wedding” in interviews! In June, Daniel also shared that they plan to get married four or five years from now.

During a virtual interview for his upcoming digital concert Apollo, ABS-CBN reports that Daniel confirmed he wants to get married before 30. He turned 25 years old in April while Kathryn turned 24 in March.

Daniel shared: “My dream wedding would be a beach wedding…Ang nakikita ko talaga after three or four years, basta before ako mag-30, iyon ang gusto ko.” He added: “Ayoko masyado patagalin na umabot na sa range ng 30s, kasi ‘pag tumapak na sa 30, ang bilis na naman, e. Sana before 30, maging swabe na ang lahat at matuloy ang kasal.”

Becoming a dad seems to play a big part in his plans, too! Daniel said: “Why not? Why wait? Kung okay naman ang sitwasyon. At least kung hindi ka pa masyadong matanda, puwede ka pa makipaglaro. Kaya rin gusto ko siya maging goal, iyong edad.”

The actor and musician added that they’ve been “adulting,” especially during the pandemic, and that he’s been saving up for the future.

Kath and Daniel confirmed that they’ve been dating for “more than five years” back in 2018. At present, they’re working on a 13-episode digital movie series called The House Arrest Of Us, which will be available for streaming starting October 24. It’s about “two people who get locked in one house with both their families!”
