Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach walked the runway of L’Oreal Paris’s “Le Defile: Walk Your Worth” show at the Paris Fashion Week 2024 on Tuesday, September 24 at 3 a.m. (PH time).
Pia became the first Filipina to grace the catwalk for Le Défilé which was broadcasted on social media and on the brand’s websites.
The former beauty queen donned a black dress during the Paris show.
Pia joined various celebrities from around the globe in the runway show including Cara Delevingne, Camila Cabello, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, and Andie MacDowell, among others.
Fans online were quick to cheer for Pia for her runway walk.
“What a great time to be a Filipina,” one fan commented.
“Slaaaaaay for the Queen of the Universe Pia Wurtzbach,” one fan wrote.
“This is your moment Pia. We’ve been waiting for this,” another fan posted.
On social media, Pia shared backstage highlights of the show. “Just a few more hours before it’s showtime… but first, an obligatory balcony shot! 😉 Sharing a few snaps at the L’oreal Suite and me signing some polaroids. It’s the calm before the storm. But I’m ready! ❤️” she posted on her Instagram page prior to her runway walk.
Before attending the beauty brand’s show, Pia was in Italy for the Milan Fashion Week.
She also shared the behind-the-scenes of her Milan Fashion Week experience on social media.
“I tried on some unexpected styles I never thought I’d love — who knew I’d love quirky pieces so much? After all, where’s the fun in not trying new things?” she wrote on her Instagram page.
The former Miss Universe went on: “With flights to catch, a sprinkle of airport drama, and running on almost zero sleep, the adrenaline has been my best friend! There’s nothing like sharing these electrifying moments with fellow fashion lovers, and of course my hardworking team who always manages to keep up the energy with me.”
