“Breaking barriers and making history!”
That is how a global beauty brand announced Pia Wurtzbach’s momentous achievement to walk in their upcoming show at Paris Fashion Week.
The beauty queen will be the first Filipina to walk the annual Le Défilé Walk Your Worth show, hosted by L’Oreal Paris.
The said fashion show is a much-awaited event that brings together a dozen designers to showcase the best in fashion and beauty.
Top fashion models are set to walk with Pia, including Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne. Hollywood celebrities will also be featured, including Viola Davis and Eva Longoria.
On their Facebook page, L’Oreal Paris said the 2015 Miss Universe will “take on the world’s fashion capital with confidence!”
This year’s Le Défilé Walk Your Worth show will be held on September 24, 2:30 A.M., Manila time, at Place de l’Opéra in Paris. It will be streamed on the brand’s social media channels.
This opportunity comes on the heels of Pia’s other recognitions in the world of high fashion.
In May, she received her award from EMIGALA as the Global Fashion Influencer of The Year.
Then in June, she was launched as a global brand ambassador for Bulgari.
Pia is currently in Italy for Milan Fashion Week.
