Kathryn Felt Awkward with Nadine Lustre (The Buzz Video)

Kapamilya Teen star Kathryn Bernardo admitted that she felt “awkward” with fellow actress Nadine Lustre who is constantly being compared to her. The revelation of Kathryn Bernardo was made during an exclusive interview with the actress on The Buzz, as part of her continued promotion of her box office movie with Daniel Padilla.

The 18-year-old Teen Queen was quoted as saying “Siguro meron kaming awkwardness kasi with the social media, the Twitter, the Instagram, parang nauunahan ng lahat ng tao bago pa kami mag-meet,” Kathryn Bernardo said.

According to the former “Goin’ Bulilit” star, although they see each other at various events, but they have yet to be introduced to each other formally.

Kathryn Bernardo added further “Hindi pa nabi-break ‘yung awkwardness na ‘yun kasi hindi pa kami formally nagmi-meet. Siguro sa backstage, doon lang kami nagkikita kasi kami ‘yung next. Pero sana, open ako sa idea na gusto ko mag-meet kami,” she said.

The “Crazy Beautiful You” actress noted that she would like to get to know more about Nadine Lustre, and maybe could hang out with her in the future and even agreed with Kris Aquino’s suggestion that the three of them have a coffee one day.

Nadine Lustre rose to fame in last year’s “Diary ng Panget,” wherein most netizens and fans commented that Nadine and Kathryn were look alike. The issue heats up when the team-up of Kathryn and Daniel was also being compared to the tandem of Nadine Lustre and James Reid (JaDine).
