In a bombshell revelation, Careless Music CEO James Reid confirmed that it was Liza Soberano herself who made the decision to exit his talent agency, putting to rest swirling rumors and speculations.

During an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, James set the record straight: “Decision niya. In all contracts and agreements I have with my artists, there’s a termination for convenience. You can leave as long as I agree, and nag-agree naman ako.”

This statement comes amid rampant whispers of Liza no longer being under Careless management. To clear the air, James decided to publicly confirm the split. “We decided to make a statement because there were a lot of rumors na hindi na siya Careless. So we decided to release the statement just to confirm it, so there wouldn’t be any confusion.” he added.

James further revealed that the root of their professional parting was due to differing career directions. “We have different, I guess, career paths. She’s more focused on her US career and going Hollywood, all of that. And mas focused kami sa Pilipinas” he explained.
