Marian Rivera calls her family’s Bohol vacation early this month as one for the books. Maybe it’s because the four of them are on vacation now—hubby Dong and kids Zia and Ziggy.

And this time around, they said they really explored and didn’t just take a siesta on the beach like their previous vacations. In fact, he said that he had already visited Bohol the other day but he saw the Chocolate Hills for the first time because they actually visited.

“Very quickly ,” Marian began sharing the details of her Bohol vacation.

“We just explored in Bohol…then we went to the Chocolate Hills, we showed Zia the tarsier, then we went on a Loboc river [cruise] . So, the fun! I said that there is so much to explore in the Philippines that it will be really beautiful!”

Adding to the story of Yan (Marian’s nickname)—who is in the mood to talk to the press after her renewal contract signing as BeautéDerm Home endorser just this week—Zia is said to be very comforted by the tarsier and even though they are in Manila, they are always it mimics the appearance of one of the world’s smallest primates.

“Zia is hanged, she doesn’t want to go home,” said Yan. “When we were here [ in Manila ], he couldn’t forget that tarsier, he always imitated it. ‘Mom, look!’ Then he widened his eyes.”

Dong is said to be the one who plans all their vacations. But as the children grow up, they really want to be able to travel all over the Philippines.

“We want to show the beauty of the Philippines…we also want to show it to Zia,” continued Marian. “That’s why in the pictures that came out [ on social media], we were biased…I also biased Ziggy…I want to open their eyes to the beauty of the Philippines.”

The reporters keep joking with Marian, maybe later the endorsers of the Department of Tourism will take their family for that. It turned out, he and Tourism Secretary Berna Romula-Puyat met recently and are now text mates.

“She is kind,” said Yan about the lady Secretary. “He saw our Bohol posts , he said , ‘Let me know when you go to Cebu.’ Because there is a newly opened zoo there.”

Meanwhile, one of the most entertained by the followers of the Dantes family is the picture that Dong posted of Marian while dancing. Dong even greeted it with “Walang kupas!” which makes DongYan fans even more excited. It is said to have been taken inside the floating restaurant that they rented to shore up the Loboc river.

Loboc floating restos are famous for having musicians who play and sing for the guests. Dong suddenly requested to play Marian’s then hit dance single “Sabay-Sabay Tayo.”

“Dong just tricked me because when we were there at the Loboc River, he requested the singer there, or request, ‘Let’s go together,’” Marian laughed looking back.

“They didn’t play ‘Sabay-Sabay Tayo,’ ‘You dance,’ while I was feeding my son…so, I was dancing…he was thrilled! He looks like he’s in love again! Chos!”

Aside from being the primetime queen of GMA-7, she was also dubbed dance royalty and her danceable single “Sabay-Sabay Tayo”, released in 2009, was a platinum awardee by PARI (Philippine Association of the Record Industry, Inc.).

He said that he is really passionate and that this passion will never go away from him.

“No matter what happens, that will never disappear from my blood stream,” he said.

When asked if his daughter Zia inherited his gracefulness on the dance floor…

“He seems to be better,” Marian estimated of her eldest.

As for the question of whether their vacation helps to warm the love of their husband and wife, this is the answer of the kikay, Marian:

“Ke me vacation, ke wala, the love is hot! Maybe our love is even stronger because we have two children. It’s different when you have a child too, eh.”
