JANINE Gutierrez confirmed that she is no longer in a relationship with Elmo Magalona.

In a “24 Oras” interview, the Kapuso actress broke her silence after it was reported online that they have decided to part ways.

Gutierrez said they are both going through tough time and even hinted that their busy schedules and working for different television networks could have led to the split.

“We have different schedules. He’s in a new place with new people and it’s hard to find a common schedule and everything. So, we just really both decided to focus on work,” she said.

Gutierrez is part of GMA-7 while Magalona transferred to the Kapamilya station in 2015.

She said that even though they are no longer a couple, she likes to remember only the good things.

“Kapag ganito, you just want to look back at the good stuff. We were together for more than two years and that whole time, that was all support and love.”

Gutierrez also wishes Magalona all the best.

“Kahit hindi na kami, hindi magbabago lahat ng pinagsamahan namin. I’ll always wish the best for him,” she ended. (Sunnex)
