Some people prefer to play it safe, only stepping out when they’re absolutely certain of success. In contrast, there are fearless souls like Amy Nobleza, who relentlessly pursue their dreams. And, more often than not, the universe favors individuals like her, those who dare to chase their aspirations, those boldly thrusting themselves into the unknown armed only with determination and faith.

Amy just proved that no dream is too big when you work hard for it–and with a little help from friends. The former child star and little dreamer has recently added a major milestone to her name—graduating from college

Amy didn’t just graduate; she did so with flying colors. She earned her degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing Management, from Lyceum of the Philippines University as magna cum laude. This impressive achievement is a culmination of years of grinding and hustling, but what makes her journey even more special is the support she received from the Unkabogable Star, Vice Ganda, whom she thanked in her Instagram post.

Vice played a pivotal role in Amy’s road to the finish line. Back in 2019, Amy participated in the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan Celebrity Champions” edition on “It’s Showtime.” After her performance, she was starstruck by Vice, and the emotions flooded her as she cried tears of joy while embracing her idol. For Amy, it was incredibly heartwarming to realize that Vice had watched her grow up as a child star and even remembered that she sang the theme song “Sana” for the inspirational-fantasy series “Mutya,” where she portrayed Chabita, the young princess of the black mermaids.

Vice, equally amazed, took note of Amy’s academic excellence– Salutatorian in elementary school and Top 1 in Grade 11. After learning that Amy was a self-supporting student, Vice offered to help, expressing admiration for young stars who manage to prioritize education while excelling in their craft. Deeply touched by Amy’s dedication and consistent performance as an honor student, Vice encouraged her with a heartfelt message: “Tapusin mo ang pag-aaral mo para sa akin na hindi nakapagtapos ng pag-aaral, okay?”

But no matter how serendipitous her meeting with Vice Ganda may have been, Amy’s journey is a true testament to her diligence, tenacity, and undeniable talent. From a young age, she demonstrated strong grit in pursuing her dreams. At just six years old, she courageously stepped into the spotlight by joining “Pinoy Dream Academy: Little Dreamers,” where she secured the second-place title.

In an episode of the online weekend show “BRGY,” Amy shared that she discovered her love for singing at just three years old. Even then, she knew she wanted to perform, especially with the motivation she received from her family. “Noong bata ako, na-enjoy ko talaga kasi nagagawa ko ‘yung passion ko, nakaka-meet ako ng new friends,” she reminisced fondly. However, she noted that being a child performer came with its own challenges, such as being busier than most kids her age since she often got invited to sing at school activities and events.

But she didn’t limit herself to singing; she also ventured into acting. In addition to “Mutya,” Amy made her mark in “Goin’ Bulilit.”

Then, we’ve watched the adorable little Amy take on increasingly challenging roles, each providing her with the opportunity to grow as an actress. She played Charity Faith, the loyal friend of Hope (Kira Balinger) in the groundbreaking Kapamilya teleserye “Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin.” She also charmed us as Denise during her brief but memorable stint in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” where she played a character who crossed paths with Lola Flora (Susan Roces) and believed in the innocence of Cardo (Coco Martin) and his friends and family.

Amy also flexed her drama skills in the Kapamilya anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya.” In one of her most remarkable MMK portrayals, she breathed life to the story of “The Voice Teens” finalist Mica Becerro.

In a world where dreams often seem just out of reach, Amy’s story serves as a powerful reminder that the path to success may not always be straightforward, but it is incredibly rewarding for those who are willing to take risks.

Congratulations, Amy!
