Nag-sorry si Regine Tolentino matapos ang kanyang nip slip sa dance number niya sa It’s Showtime noong Biyernes, July 14, 2023.

Nangyari ang wardrobe malfunction ni Regine sa opening dance number nila ni Sheree sa Kapamilya noontime show.

Parehong nakasuot ng sexy outfit ang dalawa.

Aksidenteng nakitaan si Regine dahil hindi na-secure ang kanyang top costume dahil sa pagmamadali bago ang performance.

Naging maagap ang production team ng programa na i-delete ang video ng dance number nina Regine at Sheree.

Hindi na napapanod ang performance nila sa It’s Showtime episode na ito.

WHY THE WARDROBE MALFUNCTION HAPPENED

Ilang oras matapos ang insidente, nag-post si Regine sa Facebook upang ipaliwanag kung bakit nangyari ang wardrobe malfunction.

Lahad ni Regine, ang peg nila sa production number ay si Britney Spears. Maiksi raw ang naging paghahanda nila sa kanilang dance number.

Dahil sa pagmamadali, hindi naayos nang maigi ng glam team ang outfit ni Regine.

“We had a short time preparing for the live performance, that my staff from Rta [Regine Tolentino Atelier] @Arlene and Mama Otet from It’s Showtime were still securing my costume seconds before going on stage,” post ni Regine.

“Because of the rush and stress before hitting the stage the other nipple tape was not secured properly but the costume itself was super safe.”

Dahil sa bigay-todo niyang pagsayaw, hindi raw namalayan ni Regine na lumitaw ang kanyang dibdib.

“Unfortunately, when I started dancing, mejo na over ‘hataw’ ko and I had a costume mishap that I discovered halfway through my performance.”

Nakahalata lang daw si Regine nang sinesenyasan na siya ng production people at It’s Showtime hosts.

Sabi ni Regine, “Some close and concerned ‘It’s Showtime’ hosts, dancers and staff were shouting during my dance but I couldn’t understand until I looked down.

“I was so terrified and humiliated. However, the show must go on and I finished my dance.

“I would like to extend my apologies for this unfortunate incident. I appreciate the effort of the It’s Showtime! family for protecting me by removing my part on Youtube and disabling the fast forward and rewind feature.”

Sa edited version ng episode na iyon ng It’s Showtime, makikitang tinapyas na ang dance number nina Regine at Sheree.

Makikita na lang ay ang pagtatapos ng dance number. Kitang-kita rito kung paano na-conscious si Regine na tiningnan ang kanyang dibdib para matiyak na nasa ayos ang damit niya.

Kabilang sa mga host na pinasalamatan ni Regine ay sina Vhong Navarro, Amy Perez, at Vice Ganda.

Nakibahagi si Regine sa “Rampanalo” segment ng show at pagkatapos ng segment ay humingi siya ng paumanhin sa nangyari.

Sabi niya, “Gusto ko lang po humingi ng pasensya sa nangyari, during sa prod ko.

“Hindi sinasadya dahil talagang live show, kaya pasensya na po sa costume malfunction kanina.”
