PAULO AVELINO – The actor shared a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter) that raised questions about his relationship with Star Cinema.

On January 9, 2025, he posted a sarcastic remark saying, “Ma-experience nga na hindi tumapos ng pelikula,” accompanied by a laughing emoji. This caused concern among his fans, particularly those who support the KimPau (Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino) love team. The fans speculated that the post may have been related to the highly anticipated movie “My Love Will Make You Disappear,” produced by Star Cinema.

The teaser for the film was first released on December 10, 2024, showing a romantic scene between Kim and Paulo, followed by an announcement that the movie would be released on February 12, 2025. However, during an interview on January 6, Paulo mentioned some delays in the shooting, but assured that everything was going well and that they were fine-tuning the scenes to ensure the fans wouldn’t be disappointed.

Despite these reassurances, rumors began to circulate when a screenshot of a new poster surfaced, suggesting that the film’s release date might be moved to April 2025. This caused confusion, and fans began speculating that the movie might not be finished in time for the February release. Further fueling the speculation, Star Cinema posted a meme on X with a quote from the film  Kasal, which some fans interpreted as a dig at Paulo, suggesting that he might be frustrated with the changes surrounding the movie.

Another clue that caught the attention of fans was the fact that both Kim and Paulo were no longer following Star Cinema on Instagram, though it wasn’t clear whether they had previously done so. As of now, Star Cinema has not commented on the situation, but netizens continue to discuss the possible reasons behind Paulo’s cryptic message and the shifting release date of the KimPau movie.
