Landing straight on the Number 1 spot on Netflix Philippines’ charts shortly after its premiere on Friday, 17 January, was “Incognito“. Daniel Padilla, Richard Gutierrez, Ian Veneracion, Baron Geisler, Kaila Estrada, Maris Racal, and Anthony Jennings are starring in this series.

This follows the story of a group of misfits in search of redemption by joining a private military company. They will be sent on a series of deadly missions.

For Gutierrez, this series is a dream come true for him. He expressed, “This project is more military tactical operation style, something I’ve dreamed about for a long time. The challenge was consistent, especially during our first action scene as a group in Palawan under harsh weather conditions. But the outcome was rewarding, and it forged a strong camaraderie among us.”

The debut of “Incognito” earned 585,973 peak concurrent viewers. This is the number of people who watched on the Kapamilya Online Live platform at the same time. It is No. 1 among the Top 10 TV shows on Netflix Philippines and also airs on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, Jeepney TV, and TV5.

Reacting to the powerful debut, the actors expressed their happiness. Gutierrez is happy that his first series to launch on Netflix achieved this milestone while Jennings expressed that he had goosebumps.

Padilla expressed based on a report from ABS-CBN, “Maraming-maraming salamat po sa lahat ng sumusubaybay ng Incognito gabi-gabi at sana ho ay patuloy niyong suportahan.”

For Estrada, her happiness comes from the reactions of the viewers. They worked hard on the series for months and now, the people are finally enjoying the work they put into the series.
