After the announcement of its new hosts, Melai Cantiveros and Robi Domingo, the surprises just keep coming. Not only will viewers be treated to incredible performances, but auditioners are also in for a one-of-a-kind experience as the show introduces a fresh panel of judges.

This season marks a major shake-up, with Kathryn Bernardo, Donny Pangilinan, and Eugene Domingo stepping in as the new judges, replacing Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin, and Robin Padilla. With new faces bringing their own expertise and energy, Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) Season 7 promises to be a must-watch.

Kathryn Bernardo

Since her days as a child star, Kathryn Bernardo’s future in the industry has always been promising—and she has more than lived up to that expectation. Even at a young age, she established herself as one of the greatest young actress in Philippine entertainment.

She won her first FAMAS “Best Actress” award for her powerful performance in A Very Good Girl and was recognized as an “Outstanding Asian Star” at the 2023 Seoul International Drama Awards. Adding to her growing list of accolades, she was also honored at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024.

“This is another first [of being a judge] for me, and I want to experience it. I think it’s a good breaker after doing Hello, Love Again and before I start with a new project,” Kathryn said.

Donny Pangilinan

Donny Pangilinan may be young, but he has already built an impressive career in the entertainment industry. Whether working with a love team or standing on his own, he consistently delivers standout performances, as seen in his hit shows He’s Into Her and Can’t Buy Me Love.

Before venturing into acting, Donny started as a VJ on MYX. Joining PGT has been a longtime dream of his since his MYX days. Now, that dream is finally becoming a reality in March as the show premieres!

“Pangarap namin ni Robi to do ‘PGT’ together. Dati pa as in MYX days. I’m so glad that they have put so much trust in me, and right now, I’m just gonna try to learn as much as I can,” Donny shared.

Eugene Domingo

Eugene Domingo—her name alone speaks volumes. As one of the Philippines’ most celebrated actresses, she has built a legacy of outstanding performances and well-deserved awards.

A seasoned veteran in the industry, Eugene has collected numerous awards throughout her career. She won the FAMAS “Best Supporting Actress” award in 2011 and secured multiple Best Actress titles, including at Cinemalaya (2011) and the 10th Gawad Tanglaw for Films (2012). Her exceptional portrayal in The Woman in the Septic Tank also earned her the People’s Choice Award for “Best Actress” at the 6th Asian Film Awards (2012) in Hong Kong.

Eugene promised to “add the fun” in this new season saying, “FMG is the authority. I add the fun. Kathryn is the heart. And Donny represents the young generation.”

Freddie Garcia a.k.a. “FMG”

Eugene was right—Freddie Garcia, or FMG, is the true “authority” of the show.

ICYDK, FMG has been a consistent judge on PGT since it first aired in 2010. But what makes his return even more exciting is his impressive background—he once served as the President of ABS-CBN Corporation! With his leadership experience and keen eye for talent, FMG is sure to bring wisdom and expertise to the judging panel once again.
