It was last July 18, 2023 when Dominic Roque proposed for marriage to Bea Alonzo and she gave her sweet “yes” to him. The then-celebrity couple was together for more than four years when he proposed to her.

The engagement of Dominic and Bea was held at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan. The Kapuso actress did not expect the engagement as she only thought that she was there for her GMA Gala photoshoot.

In February 2024, countless people were shocked when Bea and Dominic confirmed their breakup. The couple decided to keep the reason behind their separation in private but there were countless speculations and rumors that surrounded their breakup.

Recently, Bea Alonzo revealed that she did not initiate her breakup with Dominic Roque. According to the actress, she refuse to speak on their separation as she wanted to respect what they had.

Currently, Bea Alonzo is working for a TV series with Jeric Gonzales entitled Widow’s War. The two (2) Kapuso celebrities first worked together in Start-Up PH in 2022. Then, she was so in love with Dominic Roque.

Now that she just came from a broken engagement, did the work ethics of Bea Alonzo changed? Based on an article on Pep, Jeric Gonzales lauds how the Kapuso actress is able to separate her personal life from her work.

“Siyempre, I know din Dom. Nakikita ko sila together during Start-Up. I wish Bea all the best… Nakikita ko naman na she managed it well,” the actor said.

According to Jeric, he has so much respect for Bea and they have not talked about her broken engagement on the set. Based on the article, he stressed that it is up to her if she will open up.

“As of now, parang wala naman pong gano’n. Ibang bagay ang napag-uusapan namin, more on work,” the Kapuso actor said.

Jeric Gonzales stressed that he has never seen Bea Alonzo sad in the set. He stressed that she’s “a very strong woman”.
