Dominic Roque On Initiating Split With Bea Alonzo

This is the reaction of Dominic Roque when asked about Bea Alonzo’s revelation.

In an event, Dominic Roque begged off from answering an interview question about the revelation of Bea Alonzo regarding their split.

“Hindi ako ang nakipag-break.”

The words of Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo were clear as she shed some light to the speculations surrounding her controversial split with Dominic Roque. She said this during an interview with Nelson Canlas for GMA Integrated News.

By saying that she was not the one who initiated the split, it also became clear that Roque was the one who did it. To recall, Bea and Dominic’s split was confirmed last February. This confirmation also signaled the end of their engagement and many were heartbroken.

Bea said about the split, “It’s amicable. OK naman kami. I think it will be disrespectful to the relationship and to the other person to talk about it. It’s a very sensitive topic. And gusto kong bigyang ng respeto at gusto kong iwan sa magandang paraan what we had.”

Recently, in an event where Roque is one of the invited celebrity guests, he caught himself in an interview and among the questions asked was about Bea’s revelation. He was asked to react to it and say something about initiating the split with the actress but he begged off.

He is mum and just gave the interviewer a smile not saying anything about him breaking up with the actress.

Previously, asked about moving on from a long relationship, he said, “Work, of course, family and friends. ‘Yun, okay lang naman. May ginagawa.”

He has a great support system including his long-time ‘ate’ in showbiz Judy Ann Santos who has always been supportive of him. These people played a significant role in this phase of his life where he had to deal with not just a broken relationship but also a broken engagement.
