She shared that she had a PICC line insertion—a minimally invasive procedure—at Makati Medical Center (MMC) two weeks prior. This procedure aims to help manage her worsening health conditions, as Kris now faces six diagnosed autoimmune diseases, with rheumatoid arthritis being the latest.

Kris expressed deep gratitude to the MMC staff for their compassionate care, specifically thanking her immunodermatologist, Dr. Katcee Reyes; vascular surgeon, Dr. James Illescas; anesthesiologist, Dr. Jonnel Lim; and pain management doctor, Dr. Rainier Tanalgo, who took a photo during her procedure. She also acknowledged Dr. Mike Padlan, a surgeon previously linked to her romantically.

In her post, Kris candidly shared the emotional and physical toll of her illnesses, including lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and a weakened immune system. Recently, her white blood cell (WBC) count dropped, making her highly vulnerable to infections. She also suffered an allergic reaction to the last antibiotic she could tolerate, leading to strict isolation measures to protect her health. Although she feels isolated, Kris is driven by the prayers and support she receives from loved ones and fans.

The various health issues she faces—such as severe joint pain, rashes, fevers, and high blood pressure—have been challenging, and she admitted to questioning her strength at times. However, she remains determined, explaining that the outpouring of encouragement from supporters keeps her going.
