Ai-Ai Delas Alas confirmed her breakup with Gerald Sibayan

Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai Delas Alas reportedly has broken up with her husband Gerald Sibayan and this received a comment from her son Sancho Vito.



Ai-Ai and Gerald had been together for a decade already. Last April, they celebrated their 10th anniversary. Although their relationship has raised eyebrows, they showed that they were not affected by this and what they had for each other was true.

Amid the negative reactions to their relationship, Ai-Ai and Gerald also received support from other people and from those who admired them for finding love with each other. They were also admired for making their relationship work despite their age gap.

Early this year, Ai-Ai even gushed over her responsible husband. The comedienne and her husband stayed in the US for quite a while.

However, just recently, reports surfaced that Ai-Ai Delas Alas and Gerald Sibayan broke up. Based on the article in Balita, the breakup was first mentioned on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. It is expected that the comedienne will open up about this to her longtime friend King of Talk Boy Abunda on his afternoon talk show.

On Sunday, talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz released his Showbiz Update vlog in which he mentioned the reaction of Sancho Vito to his mom’s separation from Gerald.

“Na-shock din ang panganay na anak ni Ai Ai sa nangyari. Malungkot si Sancho Vito. Pero wala raw siyang ideya sa naging desisyon ng mama at step dad niyang si Gerald,” Ogie shared.

Ogie also said that Sancho was still trying to know what the problem was that led to the couple’s decision to separate.

As of this writing, Ai-Ai Delas Alas and Gerald Sibayan haven’t released a statement yet about their breakup.
