Matet de Leon “lied” when asked about mom Nora Aunor on “Showbiz Central”

Matet answers questions about planned migration to Norway, her Ate Lotlot de Leon, and mom Nora Aunor.

As much as possible, ayaw kong kinakana siya, ganun,” defends Matet de Leon when the lie detector did not agree with her answer about Nora Aunor’s alleged marriage to talent manager Norie Sayo.

Former child star Matet de Leon dared to answer Showbiz Central host John “Sweet” Lapus’s questions in his segment “Love Me or Hate Me, But Don’t Lie to Me” last Sunday, November 23.

The questions were divided into three levels—easy, difficult, and “now or never” questions. Out of the six questions, two were determined as a “lie” by the machine.

For the first level, John looked back on the earlier days of her career.

Matet answered, “No,” which the detector determined as “Truth.”

To which Matet seconded. Then she added, “At saka feeling ko, mas magaling sa akin si Aiza before.

The second question referred to the teenage days of Matet in showbiz.

Matet answered a big “No.”

After the detector machine showed that it’s the “Truth,” Matet explained, “Ilang beses lang kaming gumimik ni Sunshine. Kapag lumalabas kami, hindi inuman. May tatlong beses lang kaming lumabas. Ano kami, kapag lumalabas kami niyan, hindi kami nagwawala. Ano kami, cool kami, hindi kami nagwawala.”

MIGRATION TO NORWAY. After this, John probed the long-planned migration of Matet and husband Mickey Estrada with their kids to Norway.

Matet gave a “No” response to which the lie-detector machine agreed.

When asked what happened to their plan, Matet explained, “Tuloy na tuloy na ‘yon.

John then turned to Mickey and asked when they planned to arrange the documents needed for their migration.

Ngayon, bawal.”

WOMEN CLAIMING TO BE HER MOTHER. John also asked Matet about the several women who claimed to be the former child star’s real mother. John asked.

The celebrity mom said “Yes” and the device agreed. Then, Matet gave a little update on one of the women who insisted that she’s her real mother. “‘Yong babaeng ‘yon, it turned out, hindi yata ako ‘yong anak niya. Hindi pala, kine-claim niyang anak niya, e, 21 years old, e, pa-18 pa lang ako noon. Siguro alam naman ng nanay kung ano ang hitsura ng three years old o two years old sa bagong panganak. So, hindi ako ‘yon.”

ABOUT MATET’S SUPERSTAR MOM. For the difficult level, John went more serious when he asked about Matet’s eldest sibling Lotlot de Leon being their family provider.

The question went, “Matet, sumama ba ang loob mo sa iyong mommy, ang nag-iisang Superstar na si Nora Aunor, dahil for the longest time, e, ang Ate Lotlot mo daw ang tumatayong provider sa inyong magkakapatid?”

Matet’s “No” answer for this question was determined as a “Lie” by the machine.

“Hindi naman ganun ‘yon. Ano bang provider ‘yon? Financial, ganun?” Matet immediately protested.

Since Nora is now based in the U.S., Matet admitted that she rarely talks to her mom. In fact, as far as she remembered, the last time was last Christmas.

For the “Now or Never” level, John asked the Matet if she believes the report saying that Nora married her talent manager Norie Sayo in Las Vegas.

Matet, for the second time, was caught lying when she said “No” for an answer.

As much as possible, ayokong kinakana siya, ganun. I will stand beside whatever she will say.”

Before the segment ended, John asked if she has already talked to her mom about the issue. According to Matet, “Hindi ko pa siya natatanong, so hindi ko alam kung totoo o hindi. Kung totoo man, okay lang. Kung hindi, okay lang din.”
