Dominic Roque called out netizens who have been linking him to his close friend Kathryn Bernardo.

On his Instagram page, the actor shared snapshots from his birthday celebration last July with his friends including his photo with Kathryn.

One concerned fan then pointed out how Dominic no longer posts a solo photo of Kathryn on social media saying: “Gone are the days when Dom could freely and randomly post ng solo pictures ni Kath sa feed nya without these crazy people thinking any other things about it.”

The fan went on: “‘Di nyo ba alam na miss na namin mga pa pictorial ni Dom kay Kath tapos pino-post nya any time. Siya ang number one source namin ng pics ni Kath na outside work kahit noon pa.”

Dominic then responded: “Kasi iniisipan nila ng kung ano-ano.. Mga delulu. Mga toxic sa soc med.”

Back in June, Dominic also set the record straight addressing the rumors romantically linking him to Kathryn after a Facebook page posted a stitched photo of him and Kathryn with the caption: “Dominic Roque, nanliligaw nga ba kay Kathryn Bernardo?”

In response to the post, Dominic pointed out: “Kapatid ko po ‘yan. Bros.”

Both Dominic and Kathryn have been long-time friends and are part of a barkada composed of their fellow celebrities dubbed as the “Nguya Squad.”

In February, Dominic and his former fiancée Bea Alonzo confirmed their separation after almost three years of being together.

“After much thought, consideration, and care, we have mutually decided to amicably end our engagement. It was not an easy decision. We wanted to have more time to carefully deliberate and pray about it, but there have been many speculations, questions, and insults,” they said in a joint statement.

“Unfortunately, some even confirmed our break-up without our consent, and some created ridiculous stories that had no basis and were utterly false, so we felt the need to share this announcement with great sadness, for our peace of mind and our families,” the ex-couple added.

“Please understand that this is an extremely painful yet united decision, and we sincerely request everyone to kindly spare us from more cruel and very hurtful words thrown on social media,” they wrote.
