A 51-year-old public school teacher in Las Piñas City was brutally stabbed multiple times by her own husband.

According to a report by EJ Gomez on ‘Unang Balita,’ the 38-year-old suspect carried out the attack inside the school’s faculty room.

Police authorities revealed that while the school had a security guard, the suspect was a familiar face in the area, allowing him to enter and leave the premises without difficulty.

The suspect claimed that he only went to the school to talk to his wife and resolve their misunderstanding, but their conversation quickly escalated into a heated argument that ended in violence.

According to the police investigations, the crime happened at around 8:40 to 8:45 after the school’s recess.

The victim went to the faculty room where he was mercilessly killed by the suspect and it was witnessed by 3 teachers and 1 security guard.

In the report of EJ Gomez, the suspect reportedly stabbed the victim for 37 times. She suffered multiple stab wounds all over her body.

She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The suspect quickly fled the crime scene but was scene on multiple CCTVs. He was chased by 2 teachers, barangay tanods, and some concerned citizens.

Eventually, he was captured and detained.

Jealousy is one of the angles being closely looked at by the police as the suspect’s motive.

According to the suspect himself, he caught his wife with another man. However, he was only there to talk to his wife.

But when his wife turned her back on him, that’s when his anger was trigger and things started to get ugly.

He admitted he was under the influence of alcohol and he smoked some marijuana. He will be charged with parricide.

Meanwhile, the family of the victim refused to issue any statement about the incident.
