EUMIR Marcial’s wife Princess has come out in the open and bared his husband’s infidelity.

In a lengthy Facebook post on Friday, Marcial’s wife of four years came out and revealed details in her relationship with the boxing star, accusing the 2020 Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist of cheating and abuse, among others.

“I feel like I owe it to myself to share the truth to everyone who has been there from the very beginning of our relationship, who witnessed our marriage, until now that it has been deeply wounded me by it, 14 years later,” Princess started before dropping the bombshell revelation.

‘I caught Eumir having an affair’

“I caught Eumir having an affair in October last year. I, along with my sister, have personally caught them inside an Airbnb condominium in Pasay where we had them both arrested at a police station. Eumir and his mistress both had to be temporarily detained for 5 days.”

Marcial, 29, tied the knot with Princess in a 2021 beach wedding shortly after winning Olympic bronze in Tokyo. The middleweight pro boxer fell short of the medal rounds in the Paris Games and not much has been heard of his career since.

Princess bared that despite the Pasay incident, she went against her family’s advice and still gave Eumir a chance to redeem himself and save their marriage.

“Despite some of my family’s strong disapproval, I still gave Eumir multiple chances to make amends with our marriage, putting into consideration all that we have gone through and the difficult things we have survived as a couple. As his wife, I felt then that I still owe Eumir the responsibility to forgive him so I permitted his release by signing an affidavit of desistance while his mistress signed the compromise agreement thinking Eumir would take this chance to correct his mistake and do better. But what I got instead was him further manipulating me,” she continued.

Princess claimed she has been informed by mutual friends that Marcial and the alleged mistress are now living together in his native Zamboanga.

“Little did I know that what started as a small act quickly grew to a sickening love affair with his young mistress from his hometown in Zamboanga City. Currently, I’ve managed to maintain some correspondence with some of our mutual and trusted friends in Zamboanga City where they alluded that Eumir and his mistress have decided to live together. Apparently, he withdrew all our savings and used the money to construct a house for him and his mistress in Zamboanga. I also have friends who have personally seen them together.”

Princess, a former boxer who also served as Marcial’s brand manager, bared that she has been on the receiving end of threats from Eumir, claiming she was warned that “he will ensure that I can no longer step in America nor get anything from our separation.”

“For these obvious reasons, I had to go on separate ways with Eumir and severed all sources of communication with him after all the trauma, manipulation, emotional stress, physical abuse, and psychological torment that I had to endure these past few months and throughout our years of being together.”

She said the reason she’s making this public is for “my safety, the safety of my family, and the potential witnesses of this case against Eumir.”

“It is not a secret that Eumir, being a well-recognized athlete, has also gained support and protection from his connections who are very much capable of influencing the outcome of this case. They may also try to fabricate lies to fit their narrative and potentially discredit my experience, but I urge you to focus on the facts and based your judgement on the evidence we have at hand,” she said.

“This is also why I feel strongly about my intention to share this truth to the public, a truth that not only represents me but so many women who have had to deal with their abusive husbands, and who may have felt silenced or powerless to defend themselves.”

In retrospect, Princess expressed hope that her coming out will inspire more abused women to take a stand.

“Our marriage means a lot to me, because it has divine blessing guided by the knowledge that it is also the foundation of every family. How Eumir disrespected his vows to God and to me by cheating on me and continuously deceiving me had hurt me in unimaginable ways.

“I don’t think I can ever survive the pain, but my hope is that by speaking up, and in a way help other women who may have been suffering in silence, would give me the strength to continue in fighting for what is right in front of God who stood as a witness to our marriage. I’ll leave it up to God’s hands to see that true and righteous justice be served to Eumir and his mistress.”
