On her Instagram page, Demi shared a clip of herself and her husband, Tim Tebow, holding the ultrasound of their baby. “Baby Tebow,” the post read.

Fans online were quick to congratulate the couple.

“My favorite couple. Congrats to the Tebow family! May God’s blessing be upon you and your child,” one fan wrote.

“So happy for you guys! What a blessed baby!” one fan commented.

“Congratulations, you will be the best parents. This baby is already so blessed,” another fan posted.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Demi expressed her excitement about this new chapter in their lives.

“We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together,” the Miss Universe 2017 remarked. “I’m so grateful because I just couldn’t imagine a better life partner to do life with first and foremost.”

Demi is now 16 weeks pregnant. “I have loved being pregnant… I have gained the absolute just new respect for moms, especially moms that are working,” she stated.

Tim remarked that his wife’s pregnancy has transformed his outlook on life.

“It’s just amazing how it also reprioritizes and changes what you put an emphasis on and what you value most,” he said. “News like that just supersedes the level of importance and the level of joy that you have. It’s just so cool.”

Tim believes that Demi “is going to be a fierce defender and protector” as a mother.

He went on: “She will be extremely loyal and loving. Demi is someone that is extremely determined. When she sets her mind to something, she goes all the way in — and I know that she will do that as a mom, too.”

Demi-Leigh and Tim got married in January 2020. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held in La Paris Estate in Cape Town, South Africa.

“We wanted to look back at the wedding and see that it was intimate, elegant, and traditional. We definitely wanted it to be something that we could look back on and know that nothing was dated. We want to remember this day for the rest of our lives,” Demi-Leigh said about the wedding in a previous interview.
