After a 13-year absence from ABS-CBN, superstar Nora Aunor is making her highly anticipated return, set to appear in a special Mother’s Day episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” this Saturday. She will portray a mother with four special needs children, marking a heartfelt comeback.

In an open and candid interview, Nora shared her long-standing dream: “I’ve been longing to return to MMK. After such a long time away, I truly wanted to come back.” She expressed her gratitude to Ms. Charo Santos-Concio for giving her this opportunity.

Nora also publicly apologized to those she knew she had offended. “If I made mistakes, I must ask for forgiveness from those in charge,” she stated, showcasing her growth and maturity.

She acknowledged that she had made unkind comments about Ma’am Charo and Ms. Malou Santos due to her feelings of hurt in the past. This tension began during her time working on the series “Bituin sa Dos” and escalated when Nora shared her demands in a magazine interview in 2011.

“Now, I feel like I have been forgiven. Just being able to appear on MMK makes me incredibly happy,” she shared.

So, will Nora continue working with ABS-CBN after MMK? “Let’s see what ABS-CBN has in store. I’m open to all possibilities,” she replied with a smile.

In this MMK episode, Nora will portray Yolly, a mother willing to do anything for her children with disabilities. The story of Yolly and her husband Nicky (played by Joel Torre) promises to deliver profound emotions about family love and resilience.

Joining Nora in this episode are actors such as Angeli Bayani, Junjun Quintana, Gloria Sevilla, and many others, directed by Raz de la Torre.
