It is not clear, whether the superstar comedian was giving a blind item or simply trying to be funny.

Vice Ganda had netizens wondering which singer she was referring to, when she hinted at an unnamed ASAP performer, who occasionally throws tantrums on the set. During the Hide and Sing segment of the live episode of It’s Showtime, yesterday, February 20, she tried to engage the audience in a guessing game. The comedian interviewed a studio audience member and asked which among the three ‘TagoKanta’ or secret  singers, he thinks is the guest celebrity singer. The studio audience member picked performer #3, which prompted Vice to ask his reason behind such a choice.

“Yung tayo kasi nya. Sobrang behaved nya, ” said the member of the live audience, pointing at how the said ‘TagoKanta’ maintained a rockstar posture, while keeping ‘behaved’.

Vice, however, didn’t seem agreeing to the audience’s observation, and proceeded to ‘spilling tea’ about a certain ASAP singer.

“Naku, maraming singers din ang hindi behaved! Nagta-tantrums lalo na pag walang dressing room! May kilala kami sa kapag dalawa lang ang kanta sa ASAP, nagwawala!, ” she said, sharing about the said singer who ‘misbehaves’ whenever he only gets two production numbers on the Kapamilya musical-variety noontime show.

“Aminin mo, Ogie (Alcasid), nagbibilang ng sequence, ‘bakit ako dalawa lang, si ganito apat?, sa true, hindi lahat ng singers. Tama o mali?” continued Vice, throwing the question at her fellow It’s Showtime host, Ogie Alcasid, who is also an ASAP mainstay.

“Wala akong alam na ganyan!“ denied Alcasid, whose answer obviously didn’t convince Vice.

With so many singers and mainstays performing in ASAP, it  is definitely difficult to pinpoint which Vice Ganda was actually referring to. Was the comedian giving a blind item for all the ‘mariteses’ to ponder on, or was she simply trying to be funny, like any comedian would do?
