In a heartfelt Facebook post, Miguel expressed his love and respect for his father while urging the public to stop spreading false narratives.
“I am the son of Dr. Padlan, and I am speaking up because I love my father. I cannot remain silent while false stories are being spread about him,” he wrote. (Source)

Miguel emphasized that while his father and Kris Aquino have gone their separate ways, it does not mean that his father never loved her.
“The truth is simple: Yes, my dad and Mama Kris broke up because their flame had faded. But that does not mean my dad never loved her. He truly did.”

He also revealed that his father made significant sacrifices to be with Kris, including financial struggles and professional setbacks.
“My father constantly traveled to the U.S. to be with Mama Kris. He devoted so much time and energy to her, even facing financial difficulties and losing patients at his clinic. But he still chose to stay by her side.”

On March 16, Kris Aquino publicly confirmed their breakup, stating that Dr. Padlan did not love her and wanted his freedom.
