Janine Gutierrez said that ‘Lavender Fields’ helped her and Jericho Rosales became closer

Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez shared what she learned about A-list actor Jericho Rosales after working together in the series Lavender Fields.



The said series is the first TV project of Janine and Jericho. Prior to the release of the series, rumors started circulating about the real score between Janine and Jericho and they were spotted together several times.

Eventually, the actor admitted that they started dating after spending time together and knowing each other more.

In a previous interview, Jericho Rosales was asked if Janine Gutierrez is already his girlfriend. The actor did not answer this directly but he said that he and Janine like each other a lot.

In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Janine shared that she knew Jericho deeply because of their time together working in the series.

“Dito lang naman kami naging close. Hindi kami magkakilala before,” the actress said. As their series progressed, she was able to know Jericho better. She also shared that she had fun working with the actor because she felt safe.

Janine added that she knew that she and Jericho were on the same page which made the scenes even better. The actress also shared one thing she learned about the A-list star.

“Nalaman ko na kahit Jericho Rosales na siya, sobrang game pa rin siya mag-workshop, mag-aral. Maging geeky sa pag-iisip ng gagawin sa eksena at sa script,” Janine shared.

Lavender Fields is set to end this week and Janine Gutierrez shared that she learned new things while doing the series. “Kasi from zero ako sa action. So I tried to learn that slowly before the show and then when the show was about to start with Ate Jodi sa mga fight rehearsal,” she said, adding that viewers can expect intense scenes for the finale week. The actress also shared that she does not want to do another “kontrabida” role in the future because it was tiresome for her emotionally.

Meanwhile, Janine amused fans when she accidentally revealed her upcoming show with Jericho. After the Kapamilya series, fans can expect another project from them.
