Dingdong Dantes On How They Explain Superstar Status To Zia & Sixto

In an interview, Dingdong Dantes explains the process of telling their children about their superstar status.

DINGDONG DANTES – Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes shares with Boy Abunda what they do to tell their children about their work.

The King and Queen Of GMA Primetime are the real-life married couple, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera. They started out as a love team and now fast forward, they are now happily married with their two kids.

They have superstar statuses but do their kids know about this? Are Zia and Sixto aware that their parents are the superstars of Philippine show business?

In an interview with Boy Abunda, Dingdong discussed this matter.

He was careful in choosing his words when explaining to Tito Boy that they slowly tell them about it as they are still both too young to understand their parents’ jobs and status. As for Zia, he believes that she’s already at the age of being able to understand this.

She has seen a lot of things and the dynamics of their work.

They also have this stage where they let their children watch their past works. They want to take it one thing at a time. Apart from letting them know, this is also the best way they see to make them value their jobs.

“Dahil ito yung nagbibigay kabuhayan sa amin. Pero, more importantly, we wanna show them that we are very proud of our work,” he said.

He and his wife once talked about this before if they should hide and shield them but they realized that there is nothing to hide. They thought that they should actually be aware of it because it is their main source of income and the reality they also make a lot of people happy through their job.
