Actress Julia Barretto and actor Dominic Roque reunited after many years and after a lot of things happened in their friendship.



Dominic is one of Julia’s closest friends in the entertainment industry. In an interview on Magandang Buhay years which was uploaded on ABS-CBN Talk YouTube channel on March 8, 2019, they talked about how they became friends.

Dominic said that before entering showbiz, his job was selling cakes. He would go house to house near their area to sell cakes and at that time, Julia’s family was living in the same neighborhood.

The actor said that he would bring cakes for tasting to Marjorie Barretto, Julia’s mom. At that time, Julia was so young. Then, Dominic Roque said that when he entered showbiz in 2012, he reminded Julia Barretto that he used to sell cakes to her mom.

However, their friendship somehow went silent, especially when Dominic’s relationship with Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo was confirmed. It is known to many that Bea’s breakup with Gerald Anderson was controversial.

Bea accused Gerald of ghosting her. Allegations surfaced that Julia was the third party of that breakup. Eventually, Bea and Dominic became a couple.

When Bea and Dominic broke up, fans of the Kapuso actress recalled the time when the actor liked Julia’s post accusing Bea of “bullying.” To recall, Julia shared an open letter for Bea on her Instagram page amid the latter’s breakup issue with Gerald.

Last March, Julia Barretto and Bea Alonzo were spotted at an event talking to each other and they were laughing also. This ignited positive comments that they finally reconciled. When asked about this, Julia said that she felt peace in her heart when this happened.
