Alden Richards says Bea Alonzo “Put more pressure on us”, Here’s Why

Alden Richards made revelations about Bea Alonzo

Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards said that A-list actress Bea Alonzo put more pressure on them on the set of Start-Up PH and this is the reason behind this.

After a TV commercial project, Alden and Bea are now together in a TV series which is an adaption of the hit South Korean series with the same title. In a recent interview during the  Grand Presscon and Special Screening for the series, Alden shared things about his leading lady.

The actor said that after watching the trailer of their series, he can say that they can compete with the original K-drama, based on the article in Abante.

“We have something that we can be very proud of and gano’n naman po talaga. Hindi naman po talaga natin masisisi ang mga fan ng K-drama version kasi, sobrang minahal nila ang show,” Alden Richards said.

He knows that fans of the K-Drama series are protective of the original because they loved it so much and so they want the Filipino version to be something that is worth watching as well. “And base po sa trailer ng show, may laban po kami. May laban po ang show,” he said.

Alden also talked about this leading lady in the series. He said that Bea is “nakaka-pressure” and it is because of her work ethic. The actor admitted that it has been his dream to work with the former Kapamilya actress and this came true.

Working with Bea, Alden said that there was pressure but this made him more motivated. “Ang nakita ko kay Bea, she puts more pressure on us. Never akong nagkaroon ng eksena with Bea na hindi niya memorized ang linya niya,” the actor said.

Doing their scenes together, Alden Richards said that he should push himself to focus and exert more effort. Before, he would just be in “chill mode” but with Bea Alonzo as his onscreen partner, he said that the actress would always give her 100 percent and so it’s a good pressure on them.
