In Ogie Diaz’s vlog Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update, the host himself confirmed that Alden’s courtship of Kathryn has not continued.

“All I know is, there is no longer any courtship that has continued. They are just like friends,” Ogie said.

But according to his source close to KathDen, Alden really likes Kath. But he doesn’t know why the actor didn’t continue the courtship.

Ogie’s co-host Mama Loi asked if this had anything to do with Daniel Padilla’s visit to Kathryn’s dressing room last December during ABS-CBN’s Christmas Special held at the Araneta Coliseum.

“It has nothing to do with that, ‘yung visit ni DJ,” Ogie replied. “I know,” said Kathryn’s close friend, “it’s like Kathryn just talked to DJ, but there’s no hope of getting back together.”

Ogie added, “‘yung spark (kina Kath at Daniel), wala na rin daw.”
