These YouTube videos about Arnel Pineda caught netizens’ attention

Filipino singer and Journey lead vocalist Arnel Pineda reacted to the allegation that he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Arnel achieved a career status that many artists aspire to have. After being a vocalist of his local band for many years, he was offered to be the vocalist of the legendary American bands, called Journey.

From that, Arnel did world tour concerts with the band. Despite the success he achieved being in the intenationally-recognized band, he was not spared from the bashing. In 2022, he shared his struggles being the vocalist of the famous band.

One particular moment that he received bashing because of his performance at a concert in Brazil which he was not able to give the expected vocals from him. With the criticism he received, he offered to leave the band. However, his bandmates defended him.

Just recently, another issue about Arnel Pineda circulated on YouTube. Several videos were shared by different accounts claiming that the Pinoy singer was sentenced of life imprisonment, based on the article in the Philippine Entertainment Portal.

One of Arnel’s Instagram followers asked him about the fake news circulating on the video-sharing social media platform. “What’s going on with the YouTube video about you being sentenced to life?” the netizen asked.

Arnel replied to this with, “Well [I’m] somewhere nice and the sentence was in Sanfo..do the math.”

In an Instagram post on March 29, it showed that Arnel Pineda is in Manila. He shared a video showcasing the Metro Manila skyline which hinted that he is in the Philippines. “#heatwave in #metromanila won’t stop me from enjoying my #unfiltered #sunsets,” he wrote in the caption of his post. A Pinoy fan commented this in his post, “Kuya Arnel dati isyu aalis ka na ng Journey. Ngayon life time imprison naman daw. Daming jinggeterong marites.” Arnel Pineda replied, “We live in a twisted worod these days..but let us all keep the faith.”
