Bea Alonzo ‘1521’ Movie Producer Reacts To “Complaints”

Issues surfaced after Bea Alonzo finished filming the movie ‘1521’

The producer of the movie 1521 starring Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo answered the supposed complaints that surfaced during the shoot.

It was back in August last year when it was announced that Bea would do an international film. She plays the character of a native princess in the said film.

However, last month, rumors surfaced that the actress refused to promote the film and allegedly there was a conflict that happened between her and the movie producer. It was alleged that Bea had an unforgettable bad experience while filming for the movie.

Based on the article in Bandera,  Andrea Hernandez Trinidad from Team 1521 answered the “complaints” from Bea Alonzo’s camp.

Reportedly, the producer of the film did not spend on Bea’s team’s accommodation. Trinidad stressed that for the actress and her team, the accommodation was part of the contract. However, it was said that Bea brought more people to her team than what was previously agreed.

When it comes to the issue that the air conditioning units were just installed a few days before the shoot ended, the producer has this answer, “Aircon tent was delayed first 3 days of shoot lang due to the delay sa Manila port in transporting it. (Beyond the producer’s control.) We have rental receipts of actual days of aircon rent rental to prove Hindi tama na last few days na lang Ng shoot dumating ang ac tent.”

On the issue that the director was injured, Team 1521’s representative said that the other crew and cast members had written statements that the set was safe. The producer stressed that accidents can happen while filming and that the director slipped while taking selfies.

Regarding the issue that it was Bea Alonzo who paid for her costume, Trinidad said that the producer was the one who paid for that but the actress was absent during the scheduled fitting.

“Later on she wants to redesign the costume according to her style and wants her own tailor to do it and refused to have it fixed by production design contracted tailor. So, she ended up paying for the repair herself since she refused the services of the production tailor,” Trinidad said.

The producer of Bea Alonzo’s movie also debunked the allegations that the “itak” props used were true and so there were injuries, including the allegations that the producer did not fulfill promises to the actress. Trinidad said that everything was stated in the contract that was signed by Bea and the producer.
