Bea Alonzo, Alden Richards React To Their Rumored Rift

Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards are together in the new Kapuso show

Kapuso stars Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards reacted to their rumored rift that allegedly took place after they did the series Start-Up PH.

The said series was the Pinoy adaptation of the South Korean series with the same title. That was Bea’s first Kapuso series. They were supposed to do a movie together, an adaptation of the South Korean movie A Moment To Remember.

However, this did not push through, and rumors surfaced that they have a conflict. In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Alden and Bea denied that there was a rift between them.

Alden Richards said that it was just a “little misunderstanding.” “Honestly, yes. I mean, hindi… It’s a very light misunderstanding na kailangan lang talagang pag-usapan, and never naman kaming hindi naging okay,” the Pambansang Bae said.

He also said that it’s all about open communication and when they talked about this, things went well.

“And yun nga, ngayon we agreed to do Battle of the Judges together right after Start-Up. So, hindi rin po talaga namin gets kung bakit ang laki-laki niya outside. Hindi namin gets kung bakit lumaki siya nang ganun na parang naging out of hand siya,” he said.

He added that maybe this supposed “issue” just lacks clarification on their part. They were both busy doing their respective talents and media people did not have the chance to talk to them about this.

Bea Alonzo is happy that she has another project with Alden Richards even though they have lesser interaction in Battle of the Judges.

When asked if there is “panghihinayang” that she and Alden weren’t able to do their supposed movie together the actress has this answer, “Oh! It’s a beautiful story. In fact, nag-workshop na kami ng madaming beses. Nag-storycon na kami. So, magandang-maganda talaga yung character. Of course, every opportunity naman na hindi magagawa, siyempre nakakalungkot. But I also believe in destiny.“
