Bea Alonzo Reacts To ‘Ginagamit si John Lloyd, Dominic Roque’ Accusations

Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo reacted to accusations that she is just using her longtime onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz and her boyfriend Dominic Roque.

One of the issues being thrown at Bea is that she is “manggagamit” and she answered this through her recent vlog titled “Reacting To Mean Tweets About Me.” One of the netizens commented that she is just using John Lloyd for 20 years.

Bea’s major TV projects when she was starting in showbiz was with John Lloyd and for two decades their fans have enjoyed their teleseryes and movies together. In her vlog, the actress said that she and her onscreen partner both benefitted from the partnership.

More than the partnership that they have, the friendship that they have until now is also important as they both benefitted from it as well. “It’s not a one-way street,” Bea Alonzo said.

When it comes to the netizen’s accusation that she is using Dominic Roque or the other way around, the actress said, “Parang ‘di ko gets ang gusto niyang sabihin. Ibig sabihin ‘pag nagka-jowa ako, ibig sabihin, ginagamit lang ako or ginagamit ko? Di ko gets… Sana maging okay ka, kasi okay kaming lahat,” Bea said and just laughed about it.

At one point, Bea also read a comment from a netizen who said that she and John Lloyd were trying to fool other people and make the public believe that they are a couple.

The actress clarified that she and John Lloyd never became a couple but there is more than friendship between them. Both of them have expressed their sides about their closeness in previous interviews.

Bea Alonzo said before ending her vlog that she thought she would cry reading the mean comments. She said that through the years, she has learned to filter the reactions from other people for her “survival and sanity.”
