Bea Alonzo reacts to fans of her Team DaDa with Jeric Gonzales

Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo talked about her first project with actor Jeric Gonzales, the primetime series Start-Up PH.

This Pinoy version of the South Korean series is Bea’s first-ever Kapuso series. For the longest time, fans of the actress have been waiting for her first show on GMA. She signed the contract with her home new network last year.

Fans have been anticipating her onscreen chemistry with Alden Richards as well. In the series, Jeric plays Bea’s love interest. Their tandem is known as the Team DaDa which is an abbreviation of their characters’ names Dani and Davidson.

In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Bea is overwhelmed by the warm feedback that they are getting. “Nakakatuwa, totally unexpected kasi It’s my first time doing a show with Jeric…” the actress said.

Then, Bea Alonzo said that she never had the chance before to work with Jeric Gonzales and she commended his acting skills.

“I’m very very happy and proud of him kasi alam ko kung gaano siya talaga nage-effort para mapaganda ‘yung character niya,” the former Kapamilya actress said.

In a previous interview, Jeric Gonzales said that his leading lady in the series is a “true superstar.” This acting stint is something that overwhelms him also. The actor also shared during an interview that their director Jerry Sineneng approached him during the first day of taping.

It was because the director noticed that Jeric was a bit uneasy. The actor admitted that he was overwhelmed by the presence of Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo. Eventually, Jeric Gonzales was able to break the ice.

Just recently, the Tatlong Bibe scene of Jeric and Alden went viral. Netizens had a great laugh when they recited the lyrics of the Pinoy nursery rhyme as their characters were pretending to be talking to each other.
