Bea Alonzo Talks About Working Again With Jean Garcia

Bea Alonzo admitted that she is a fan of Jean Garcia

Kapuso A-list actress Bea Alonzo talked about working again with seasoned actress Jean Garcia after more than two decades.

Bea is one of the lead actresses in the new Kapuso series Widow’s War. She plays the character of Sam, the girlfriend of Paco Palacios, played by Rafael Rosell. Jean plays the character of Aurora Palacios, the mother of Paco.

In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Bea is excited to work again with Jean after many years.

The last time Bea Alonzo had a project with Jean Garcia was back when she was just a teenager.

“Ngayon na nakatrabaho ko siya, and I’ve always been a fan of Miss Jean, napanood natin siya sa mga tumatak na characters in the past. So, now that I’m finally working with her again, na-miss ko talaga,” she said.

Bea and Jean already shot some of their intense scenes, such as their “awayan” and “sampalan” scenes. The seasoned actress is known for “sampalan” scenes, so she and Bea talked about the scenes first before the take.

“Si Bea, nag-usap kaming dalawa, sabi ko, ‘Bea ito ang gawin natin, ganito ganiyan,’ para merong konting sakitan, pero atleast hindi malala atsaka controlled,” Jean shared. She also said that she and Bea have and understanding because respect is very important.

Bea Alonzo shared that the cast members do not know who the murderer in the series is. This keeps them all on their toes. “‘Yung parang nagbibigay kami ng mga reaksyon na iisipin mo kung siya ba ‘yung pumatay o hindi. Lahat merong parang darkness in them, merong tinatago,” the Kapuso A-list actress shared.

Also included in the cast are Carla Abellana, Tonton Gutierrez, Rita Daniela, Benjamin Alves, Jackie Lou Blanco, Timmy Cruz, Lito Pimentel, Jeric Gonzales, and Joyce Cabrera. This murder mystery series is directed by Zig Dulay.
