Bea Alonzo: Rookie ‘1521’ Film Producer Hopes She Will Do This

The rookie producer of the ‘1521’ film has this to say about Bea Alonzo who is absent at a movie premiere.

Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo was absent during the premiere of ‘1521’ and the producer of this film hopes that she will do this.



‘1521: The Battle of Mactan’ is an international film starring Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo. According to the rumors, the actress had a bad experience while filming this film, hence, her being inactive when it comes to promoting this.

Alonzo’s unforgettable experiences in filming ‘1521’ includer her shouldering the hotel rooms of her team, shouldering her costume expenses, low quality materials for shooting, and shouldered the “pa-meryenda” and “pa-tubig” for the talents.

She was also absent during the premiere of this film. In a previous article, Bea was “no show” despite the invitation and despite being the lead star. The rookie producer of this film already apologized to the actress due to the experiences she went through. The producer doesn’t blame and understands her.

“I hope she hears this: I apologize. Because of my limited knowledge and experience—I’m a first-time producer—I made some calls that apparently didn’t help her, and I take responsibility for them. It wasn’t my intention to hurt her,” the film producer said in an apology to Alonzo.

He is taking full responsibility of what has happened. Amid this, he is still hoping that the flow would reverse and that Alonzo would attend the next screening schedules for their film.

Nevertheless, he has nothing but all praises to the stellar performance of the actress in the film. The producer gushed about her amazing performance in this film which will be shown in cinemas starting June 5.

The film is where love meets history. Apart from Alonzo, the cast included Hollywood veteran Danny Trejo as Ferdinand Magellan, Michael Copon as Lapu-Lapu, Hector David Jr., Maricel Laxa and Costas Mandylor. This film was already recognized in several award-giving bodies such as the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival (AIMAFF), Sweden Film Awards (SFA) and the London Independent Film Awards.
