Buboy Villar played Marian Rivera’s sidekick when he was a child star

Kapuso actor Buboy Villar expressed appreciation to Primetime Queen Marian Rivera in a recent interview.

Buboy started his acting career at a young age. He did several projects with Marian when he was a child star such as Darna, Dyesbel, and Amaya. In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the actor said that he really feels the A-list actor would really treat him like a family.

Buboy said that he feels that he is the “bunso” of the wife of Primetime King Dingdong Dantes. “Ate ko talaga si Marian,” he said.

He also shared that Marian Rivera helped him a lot in so many things. This is not just in the showbiz aspect but also in real life. Buboy Villar highlighted that the A-list actress taught him a lot when it comes to their craft and not being pressured about anything.

Buboy also shared that it was Marian who boosted her confidence. “Pagdating sa confidence, isa si Ate Yan-Yan na nag-boost sa akin para mailabas ‘yung confidence na yan,” he shared.

He added that even though they are “magkumare”, the actress would still treat her like a “bunso.”

Meanwhile, just recently, Buboy Villar received negative reactions for joining the new hosts of GMA’s Eat Bulaga. The bashing was even hyped up when netizens noticed that a winner in their Ang Pinaka segment is a “tindero” in Buboy’s “pares” business.

However, the Kapuso actor clarified that the said guy is not his employee but a fan who would follow him wherever. He also clarified that there is no truth to the rumors that he will leave the noontime show because of that.
