CLAUDINE BARRETTO – The Optimum Star has publicly supported Rita Daniela, who recently filed a complaint against actor Archie Alemania for inappropriate behavior.



In an emotional Instagram post, Barretto shared screenshots of a video call with Daniela, highlighting their encouraging conversation. She expressed her commitment to defending Daniela, questioning why she is in a difficult position. She affirmed her belief in Daniela and her intent to protect her, challenging the accused to confront her and apologize before it’s too late.

Barretto urged the public to avoid “blaming the victim” and called on Alemania to take responsibility for his actions. She asked her followers to show kindness and expressed her willingness to mediate if Rita desired. Barretto stressed the importance of sincere apologies, stating that admitting one’s mistakes does not lessen a person’s integrity.

Barretto, a survivor of harassment, spoke out due to her concern for her daughters and the seriousness of such accusations. She commented on Alemania’s intention to defend himself in court, noting that it’s easier to apologize since “the damage is done.” She reassured Daniela of her support and love, stating, “God hears you. I’m here for you!”

On October 30, Rita Daniela filed a complaint against her co-star Archie Alemania at the Bacoor City Prosecutor’s Office, alleging that he inappropriately touched her without consent after a work gathering on September 8. Daniela reported that Alemania made unwanted comments during the event, which made her feel uneasy. Later, while waiting for a ride, she accepted his offer to drive her home, believing he was sober enough.

However, she claims he behaved inappropriately during the ride. Following the incident, Daniela informed Alemania that his actions had disrespected her, and she included this message in her complaint, along with his reply in which he apologized and stated that he was drunk. Daniela is now pursuing legal action to address the situation.
