Claudine has always been very vocal about her affection for Rico even though he passed away many years ago. The actress would still share posts to reminisce about the memories she had with the late actor.

Just recently, Claudine accompanied Rico’s nephew Alfy for his contract signing with Viva Artist Agency (VAA).

While they were talking, Claudine found out that ABS-CBN called the Yan family before and asked if Alfy wanted to enter showbiz. Then, she asked Alfy while they were eating what he likes to do aside from baseball.

“Do you wanna join showbiz?” the actress asked the young man and he answered that he did not want to be in showbiz entirely but he wanted to do commercials and be like an endorser or influencer.

The actress shared that Alfy’s family was surprised by his answer because just a few months ago, he said that he did not want to be in showbiz. “I don’t know what happened. Nagulat kaming lahat. That was November 4, and then dire-diretso na. Ang bilis na ng mga pangyayari. Ang bilis talaga, so yun lang,” Claudine said.

It was the actress who contacted Viva Entertainment CEO Vic Del Rosario and introduced Alfy Yan. However, Claudine Barretto clarified that she is not co-managing Alfy.
