James Reid Rules Out Reunion with Nadine Lustre

 Singer-actor James Reid has definitively ruled out the possibility of a romantic reunion with his former on-screen partner and ex-girlfriend, Nadine Lustre. In a recent interview with showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz, Reid acknowledged the widespread desire among fans for a reconciliation but firmly stated that it is not in the cards.

“I don’t think that’s going to happen,” Reid said. “I’m always grateful for the unwavering support from fans, even as I’ve shifted to music. They continue to promote my work. But out of respect for my girlfriend, Issa (Issa Pressman), I don’t think I’ll ever do another love team.”

 

Reid also addressed the online harassment and negativity that he and Pressman have faced following his breakup with Lustre in 2020. He expressed disappointment in the persistent negativity and urged fans to move on and allow him and Pressman some peace. 

Despite the breakup, Reid clarified that he and Lustre remain on amicable terms. He dismissed the baseless rumors circulating online about the circumstances surrounding their separation, emphasizing that he has moved on with his life.

Reid expressed his happiness for Lustre’s current success, including her relationship with French boyfriend Christophe Bariou. Looking ahead, he revealed his plans to return to acting early next year while continuing to pursue his music career.

“I’ve learned a lot and I’m very happy with my music. Things are going well, and I’m excited to get back into acting,” Reid concluded.
