Dingdong Dantes and Beauty Gonzalez are confirmed to be paired in a project!
Dingdong and Beauty attended a Zoom story conference of their untitled series, as posted by a netizen on November 16.
Over the past few weeks, Dingdong and Beauty have been reported to be working together on a teleserye.
The series is said to be titled AlterNATE, originally a part of the second season of the drama anthology I Can See You back in April 2021.
AlterNATE, however, was put on hold. GMA-7 has yet to announce if there will be changes in the show.
There was also a report on PEP Troika published on September 30 that Beauty was tapped to co-star with an “A-List actor” for her next project in the Kapuso network.
Aside from Dingdong and Beauty, the upcoming series will also feature Joyce Ching, Bryan Benedict, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Ricky Davao.
It will be directed by Dominic Zapata, who also directed Dingdong in his last TV series, the adaptation of the K-Drama Descendants of the Sun.
The project is Beauty’s second TV show after signing with GMA-7 in June 2021.
Her first Kapuso TV show, Stories from the Heart: Loving Miss Bridgette, became a winner in the ratings, averaging from 7 to 8%, a rare number in afternoon TV programs. Beauty was paired with Kelvin Miranda in the TV series.
