Barbie Hsu Husband On Her Untimely De@th: “I am not okay”

DJ Koo is heartbroken over the De@th of his wife, Barbie Hsu.

The death of Barbie Hsu, whose Chinese name is Hsi Yuan Hsu, left many hearts broken and her husband DJ Koo is in pieces.



Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu has died at the age of 48. The cause of death of Shan Cai was pneumonia which she acquired during her trip to Japan. The death was unexpected and many people mourned the loss.

The news was confirmed on February 3 in a statement and she died in Japan. It all started with a blind item igniting speculations and led many fans of hers to wish that it was just fake news. However, it’s not.

Her husband, DJ Koo, confirmed that her death was not fake news. Koo Jun-yup, also known as DJ Koo expressed that he was not okay and that the death of his wife was true.

Wang Xiaofei, Barbie’s ex-husband, also returned to Taiwan heartbroken. He came from Thailand with his new wife and was emotional when he stepped foot in Taiwan. Wang said, “She will always be my family.”

About Barbie and DJ Koo

They dated from 1998 to 2000 after meeting at a concert but had to break up. The agency prohibited romantic relationships. After this, Barbie did “Meteor Garden” with Jerry Yan as Daoming Si, Vic Chou as Huaze Lei, Vanness Wu as Meizuo, and Ken Chu as Ximen, and her success in the entertainment industry from this point was unstoppable.

In 2010, Barbie and Wang got married. They were blessed with two children but in 2021, they separated.

Hsu then rekindled her romance with Koo and this was the time when she was going through a divorce. 20 years after their romance was cut short in 2000, they reconnected, and shortly after, they tied the knot. The wedding took place in 2022, just around four months after Hsu’s divorce from Wang.
