“Before, this was for vanity, but it did mean more than that,” Heart said, pointing to her wrist. She shared that the tattoo originates from one of Chiz’s love letters, using his very own handwriting.

“It will always be here because all of this shall go away, even this will fade away, pero kung ano talagang nasa puso namin,” she explained.

For Heart, the tattoo is a unique way to keep her husband close to her. She elaborated that she didn’t want a traditional ring or other material possessions to symbolize their connection. “I didn’t want a ring, and I didn’t want anything else to have him with me till I am gone, so the best way probably was to have him here,” she shared.
